MOMENTUM successfully passed its half-way mark

The MOMENTUM project’s mid-term review meeting, which took place on 12 January, was a good opportunity to exchange with responsible reviewers and project officers of the European Commission. After the project reached its half-way point, a positive conclusion was drawn, as deliverables were published on time and the international followers of the project have received regular updates through the available communication channels.

MOMENTUM presented its progress over the last 18 months. Main achievements were showcased by each work package leader, which highlighted a steady progress towards the completion of the MOMENTUM tools. The presentations highlighted the data gathering and -storage efforts, as well as the related tasks of data integration of more than 80 datasets from the four participating cities. Furthermore, the advancements concerning the developed decision-support-tools were also outlined in combination with a detailed explanation of the research about emerging mobility solutions. The latter was done in 2019 through exchange with expert groups during physical meetings, as well as desk research and online surveys.

The Commission highlighted several positive outcomes. The good cooperation was also shown by the fact that all milestones of the first part of the project were achieved. Besides the positive review, a brief outlook on the upcoming events and publications can be given. In late February, a mid-term validation seminar will take place, which offers stakeholders an insight into the technical developments of the project, while having opportunities to provide feedback.
