After the shift from a physical meeting in Regensburg into the digital world, the latest consortium meeting of the MOMENTUM project also had to take place digitally. These unfortunate circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic did not stop Mr Zervas, mayor of Thessaloniki, to give the consortium a warm welcome.

Instead of inspecting the recent developments in the transport sector of the second-largest Greek city in an on-site ‘inspection’, the city official provided an update about the improvements and accomplishments related to COVID-19 resilience strategies. The locally developed ‘decision support tool’, which is funded as part of the MOMENTUM project, will have direct benefits for Thessaloniki.
