MOMENTUM to share insights at ITS World Congress

MOMENTUM will present its latest developments related to emerging mobility solutions and their integration potential with existing transport modelling frameworks at the 27th ‘World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)’. The 5-day event, which will take place in the German Hanseatic City of Hamburg from 11 to 15 October 2021, is organised by ERTICO.

It is regarded as one of the main annual tentpole events of the global mobility- and transport community with more than 10.000 attendees and 150 sessions. This significant gathering will be a physical conference, one of the first events after the heydays of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The MOMENTUM session has been selected as a merger between two proposals, which were handed in by POLIS Network, the dissemination partner of the MOMENTUM project. Besides our focus on emerging mobility solutions and connected and automated driving, other insights from the four projects of Levitate, PAV, Dynaxibility4CE and CoEXist about potential development strategies to integrate autonomous vehicles will be given. The aim of the session will be to showcase potential tools and solutions for cities and urban municipalities to prepare for new and emerging mobility solutions for the future.

Since the session is currently in a draft stage, MOMENTUM will provide further information about the ITS World Congress and our involvement, once further details are available.
